Women in Law Awards new date and venue announced:
We have been continually reviewing the COVID-19 situation and its impact on the Women in Law Awards 2020 and now believe the best course of action is to move the awards ceremony to later in the year.
The new date for the awards is Wednesday 11 November and the ceremony will continue to take place at Hilton Bankside, London. Our first priority is to protect the health and well-being of our guests, sponsors and staff along with the quality of the event and we hope that you will support us in this decision and continue to join us on Wednesday 11 November.
If you would like to join us on the 11 November 2020 and have not booked your place yet please contact Orhan Toprakci via firstname.lastname@example.org or on 020 7484 9973.
Women in Law Awards 2020
Incisive Media is delighted to launch the Women in Law Awards 2020, an exciting new opportunity to showcase the achievements and innovations of women across all areas of legal practice.
The legal profession has made significant strides down the road to creating a genuinely diverse, equal opportunities landscape. Law firms and organisations have become increasingly transparent about their gender pay gap and flexible working conditions are commonplace. But there is still a long way to go to break the glass ceiling that impacts the career prospects of women in legal practice and at board level. The Awards are also here to recognise non-practising roles in law firms, in-house teams and across the industry as a whole.
About the Awards
The Women in Law Awards will honour the inspiring achievements of women across all segments of the industry and will also help shape the discussion around how diversity can be improved by highlighting some of the most forward-thinking initiatives. Showcasing excellence and achievement is a vital tool in the continuing battle to establish equality across all parts of the profession and in all roles.
We hope you will take this opportunity to either nominate yourself or a valued colleague and we look forward to revealing the finalists and winners on 11 November at The Hilton Bankside.
Please note a person can only be nominated in a maximum of three categories. Women currently on a career break can also be nominated. Some categories are also open to men. Please refer to the category eligibility criteria for more details.
Nominations closed at 5pm on Friday 17 January 2020
