Women Returners are the European experts in enabling professionals to return to work after an extended career break. They pioneered the introduction of returnship programmes into the UK and Ireland, created the ‘supported hiring’ route into permanent roles, and have led the successful development of the returner programme market.
They have partnered with over 70 forward-thinking organisations to design and promote returner programmes and to support returners during their transition back to work with their psychology-based Career Returners Coaching Programme.
They operate as a social business, offering a wealth of free resources to guide, support and inspire returners in their journey back to work. Their free online network community, the Women Returners Professional Network, has over 5,500 members. They provide access to returner opportunities and individual and webinar-based coaching run by their team of highly qualified and experienced coaches.
Women Returners is a voice and advocate for returners in the media and Government forums. They co-wrote the Returner Programmes: Best Practice Guidance for Employers and the Returner Toolkit for the Government Equalities Office.
